In 2011, Variety Yorkshire celebrated its 50th Anniversary and we are proud to have two founding members still on the regional committee.


The pinnacle event of the Golden Jubilee year saw their Serene Highnesses, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, attend a glamorous Ball at Harewood House, Leeds in September.


Variety Yorkshire is one of the most successful regions outside of London and is an enthusiastic and dedicated group of people from diverse backgrounds, all drawn together to help improve young lives every day.


Several of the Variety Yorkshire committee have been involved with our work for many years, and their wisdom and experience is complemented by the enthusiasm and zeal of our younger members.


Variety Yorkshire enjoys working with the local business community to raise funds to provide items as diverse as specialist computers, manual and powered wheelchairs, walking frames, and we are delighted to have been able to present more than 100 Variety Sunshine Coaches.
