Michael, who is also Variety’s Chair of Patrons, has broken fundraising records each year at his annual Charity Ball, raising over over £7.5 million to date and changing so many lives in the process.

At The Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball 2021, guests were treated to a superb evening which included a sparkling drinks reception, a sumptuous three-course dinner, and live music from Ella Henderson and the Internationally acclaimed acclaimed Soul II Soul featuring Jazzie B. The event raised a jaw-dropping £750,000 for Variety, Mahdlo, Wigan Youth Zone and Teenage Cancer Trust. The ball is famous for its dazzling celebrity line-up, and Dame Joan Collins was the special guest of honour in 2021.
