Before he passed away in 2014, Doug donated the copyright of the thousands of photographs he took to Variety. Variety are working with the digital ownership platform Cool Rivers to digitise the photos and raise vital funds for the charity through digital ownership.

20 photos have been selected to be in this sports themed collection. Attendees on May 1st have the opportunity to purchase digital copies of these images with funds going to help Variety continue to support disabled and disadvantaged children across the UK. By purchasing a photo you become part of the ‘Variety Vault Community’. You will be not only receive your digital image, but also benefits such as early invites to Variety’s flagship events.

2024 is Variety’s 75th anniversary. The Variety Vault project is a really important way for the charity to connect and expand our support base while ensuring the charity’s sustainability for the next 75 years through the exciting world of digital ownership.
