As part of the celebrations of its 30th year, the Variety at Work team in Scotland hosted two Christmas parties for children with special educational needs from schools from all over Scotland.

The venues Hampden Park and the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow saw more than one thousand children being entertained by The Radio Clyde Road Show Disco, clowns and magicians and, of course, enjoyed a very special visit from Santa himself.

All the children received presents of their choice and David McBride, Scotland’s Variety at Work Convener said:

“The children had an absolutely fantastic time and hopefully we will have given them a day to remember”.
