Over 750 children have a magical time at The North Pole Bash Christmas Parties
This month, over 750 children from various backgrounds were treated to a festive day at Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts in Milton Keynes, Warrington and Sheffield for The North Pole Bash Christmas Parties! This was all thanks to the generosity of Lumistella, the home of Elf on the Shelf, and The Michael Josephson Charity Ball.
Many of the children face challenging circumstances, so this was an opportunity for them to step out of their comfort zones and enjoy a day of fun with experiences they wouldn’t normally have had the chance to enjoy. The trips were the ultimate Christmas adventure with festive activities and special gifts to take home, including some delicious chocolates kindly donated by Together Money.
The highlight of the day was a surprise visit from Elf on the Shelf who gave each child their very own Elf on the Shelf to take home! The children also had a heartwarming visit to Santa Claus, where each child had the chance to receive a special gift. For the teachers and caregivers who accompanied the children, the day was a joy to witness.
Teacher from Romans Field School, said:
“We’re so grateful just to see how excited and happy the children are and how confident they’re becoming, because for some of our children taking risks and challenges is something they find really hard, but coming here today they’re seeing their friends do things and they’re pushing themselves that bit further and all I’ve got is happy faces and children who are loving it, so thank you so much Variety!”
The event was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Lumistella and The Michael Josephson Charity Ball, whose commitment to improving the lives of children continues to create positive, lasting memories for those who need it most.
The day was more than just a festive outing – it was an opportunity for the children to bond with their peers, build their confidence and create cherished memories.
