Sol and Eddie Zakay to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at 2024 PROPS

The event will take place on Thursday, 27th June 2024 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. Sol and Eddie have achieved this award in recognition of their contribution to the real estate sector and wider entrepreneurship.

Sol and Eddie have led the real estate business since the 1980s. Previously they had a successful career in retail fashion. Sol and Eddie, together with the dedication of the entire Topland team have built the business into what it is today, a multi-billion pound real estate Group.

Sol’s entrepreneurial flair, Eddie’s head for business, and their strategic vision and drive to execute have been the catalysts to the Group’s continued success over the past 30+ years. The ability to identify and execute unique opportunities has been instrumental to the Group’s growth, enabling it to play a somewhat pioneering role within real estate investment and lending sectors.

The Group’s initial focus was on long-term income – commercial real estate underpinned by investment-grade tenants. Through Sol and Eddie’s vision and leadership, the Group’s strategy evolved across a number of sectors including healthcare, energy and hospitality. Over the years, significant value has also been added through numerous developments, bringing significant investment and jobs to the surrounding communities the Group has been present in. The Group also invests across the full capital stack which includes equity, senior and mezzanine debt positions.

Under Sol’s continued leadership, acting as Chairman and CEO and Eddie as Deputy Chairman, the Topland Group will continue to evolve, ensuring it remains one of the UK’s leading privately-owned real estate-centric investment Groups.
