On Friday 21st April, three fantastic supporters of Variety in the Northwest – Paula Castle, Fiona Parkinson and Jo Booth – once again organised a Ladies Lunch at Manchester Hall for almost 200 business ladies.

Harry Ellis-Grewal has left a charitable legacy, with his family using their tragedy to keep his memory alive by working with Variety.

Thanks to the kind support of The Barbour Foundation, students at Benton Dene Special School in Tyne & Wear will be able to take part in sports competitions, residential stays and learning outside of the classroom. The 17-seater Sunshine Coach will make an immediate and long-lasting difference to the pupils' lives, both now and for many years to come.

10-year-old James will be taking part in the Superhero Tri on 12th August in aid of Variety.

Eight runners took on the London Landmarks Half Marathon on behalf of Variety this weekend, running 13.1 miles around some of London’s most iconic landmarks in the name of charity.
