Generous pantomime goers have given more than £5,000 to Variety The Children’s Charity via bucket collections in Bournemouth and Ferndown.

Father Christmas was the special guest at a fantastic Christmas party at the Marsham Court Hotel, Bournemouth, for 90 children from Bethany Junior School in Boscombe.

A fire engine with its blue lights flashing and its siren sounding, skills games and dressing up in fire fighters’ uniforms made a visit to Springbourne Fire Station a real winner.

Nearly 200 excited children from Bethany School in Boscombe followed the Yellow Brick Road to Ferndown’s Barrington Theatre to see The Wizard Of Oz. This Christmas pantomime adventure was organised by the Wessex branch of Variety The Children’s Charity.

Sarah Phillips, Challenge Events and Community Fundraising Officer, visited Mistley Kids Club in Essex to deliver boxes of Lego kindly donated by one of our corporate supporters, Davies Group.

Over 150 ladies from the business community in Manchester attended the "Winter in New York" event at the Brooklyn Hotel, Portland Street, Manchester, raising over £7,000 for Variety.

350 guests enjoyed a night of music, dancing, and fantastic entertainment at the Scotland Annual Ball, all while raising much-needed funds for Variety.

Over 5,500 children, along with their parents and carers, were given tickets from Variety to enjoy a Great Day Out at West Midlands Safari Park.

Oakfield Park School in Yorkshire were thrilled to be presented with their 17-seater Sunshine Coach with tail-lift on Monday 7th November, thanks to the generous support of St James’s Place Charitable Foundation.
