Michael Josephson MBE handed over a new Sunshine Coach to the pupils and staff of St John Vianney School in Stretford Manchester. The Coach was donated on behalf of the “Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball” which took place in 2021.

Father and daughter team, Jess and Rob, tackled the Great North Run, so far raising £1,305 for Variety, with donations still coming in!

The annual Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball was held in the Hilton Deansgate last week, breaking the philanthropist’s own fundraising record with a grand total of £1,063,872.

Illias is 11 years old and was born with both spina bifida and hydrocephalus. The spina bifida has caused weakness of Illias’ legs and because of this he uses a wheelchair. But regular wheelchair use means that his leg muscles may not be getting enough work which could result in increased muscle weakness and the risk of poor bone development.

Five year old Karl has cerebral palsy. Due to his spasticity, his muscles often go into painful cramps and he frequently experiences seizures. This means he cannot sit, walk or move unaided, or play on his own, which he desperately wants to do. Most of all, he cannot be independent.
